HARMONY, in addition to our private music lessons, have started our free of charge afterschool program!

About Afterschool

PBHA’s HARMONY (Harvard and Radcliffe Musical Outreach to Neighborhood Youth) Afterschool aims to bring afterschool group music instruction to local Cambridge elementary school children who might not otherwise have access to music enrichment opportunities. HARMONY Afterschool seeks to expand opportunities for students to grow musically, intellectually, and culturally.

How we do it

Our curriculum centers on music appreciation and ensemble playing, providing a safe and collaborative environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, musical and academic achievement, and cultural and self-awareness. HARMONY Afterschool responds to the need for equitable music instruction, teaching the basics of music in a way that is interesting and engaging for students of all ages.

Currently we run our program in two locations: Morse Community School and Cambridge Port School.
